As a farmer, Mike Donovan had an enthusiasm for low cost, low impact farming which he believed was generally ignored by advisors and their clients. Having been in publishing he decided to crate a format for like-thinking people. It has many attributes of a good club. No rule book, no committees, no "members must", but instead a magazine which many claim to read from cover to cover!
